Adult Matric
Overview:
This will provide a means of entry for prospective students who are early school-leavers or did not have the opportunity to complete their NSC/Matric/Grade 12 or to redo and as a result can then qualify for university or college higher education and training.
This will also open the door to better employment opportunities.
1 – Senior Certificate
Learners who did not write Matric Exam
Requirements:
– Must be 21 years or older
– Must have a grade 9 or equivalent NQF level with 2 languages
– Learners with incomplete SC or NSC
2 – Amended Senior
Certificate Learners who wrote Matric Exam
The ASC provides additional opportunities for candidates to meet their academic goals by retaking or adding subjects.
Requirements:
– Must be 21 years or older
– Previously completed Grade 12 or equivalent.
3 – Second Chance
Program Learners who previously failed their Matric Exam
Individuals who what to improve on subjects they have previously taken.
Requirements:
– People who could not complete matric due to various personal or academic reasons.
– Must be 18 years or older
Learning Methods & Delivery
– Online with live classes weekly in the evening, per subject (1Hr-1.5Hr)
– Material in the form of info PDF/ exercises and Module recorded classes
(Mp4) totalling approximately 75 Hours
– National exam will take place May/June once annually
Subject Combinations
Students can take 4-6 subjects (Course duration approximately 1 year)
Students can take 1-3 subjects (Course duration approximately 6 months)
